Summer Update
On Sunday, we took time as a church to gather together for prayer and get an update about what is happening this summer at Knollwood. We are grateful for this opportunity to reflect on what God is doing at Knollwood. We spent time praying praise, thanks, confession, and petition to our awesome God. As we look to the summer, there are a few things that the Elders would like to share with you.
Community Groups and Discipleship Groups will be stopping for this summer to allow for a time of rest. They will start up again in the fall.
God’s Love Ministry Knollwood Has started and is running a Saturday Community Centre as they seek to reach out to the community. Pastor Sam is looking for those who would like to help.
Forest Cliff Camp We are excited to be able to have Forest Cliff day camp from August 8 to 12. This ministry is still looking for a few volunteers to help with snacks and lunches. Please read Pastor Matt’s post for more information.
Church Fellowship We will be having Picnics in the Park once a month to be together as a church. Please join us and bring your lunch.
Children’s Ministry We will continue to run our children’s ministry throughout the year, but as we look forward to the fall, we will need more people to help expand our growing ministry.
Pastor Nate’s Sabbatical The Elders announced that Pastor Nate would be on an early sabbatical this summer from June 26 to September 18. You can read the announcement from the Elders here.
