Chris Wood
My wife, Filomena and I have two teenage children, Isaac, and Rachel. We homeschool our children and Filomena is the bookkeeper at Redemption Bible Chapel London. We have been blessed to be part of many ministries over the years; Small Group leading, Greeting Teams, premarital mentoring, and Welcome Desk ministries. My wife and kids have served in Kids Ministry, and I have served in Men’s Group leading, evangelism training and street witnessing.
I went to college for Electronics and graduated in 2000 with an Electronics Engineering Technologist diploma. In 2001 I was hired at Diamond Aircraft here in London and would go on to get an Aircraft Mechanic diploma online. It was in this time I met Filomena and was saved when I was around 30 years old. Sometime later God was gracious to open a door for me to go Heritage Seminary part-time. In April 2022, I graduated with a Master of Divinity degree and God would again open another gracious door for me to be hired on here at Knollwood Baptist Church as an associate pastor.
A Scripture verse that I have found comforting and filled with hope is Isaiah 41:10, “fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
