Matt Freele
Matt Freele is our Associate Pastor who oversees our Family and Worship Ministries. He grew up here at Knollwood until he went out west to Prairie College in Three Hills, AB. to study Music, Worship and Songwriting under Brian Doerksen. After 2 years he graduated with a diploma in Music and Worship Arts. He then continued on his study by transferring into Youth Ministry where after 2 years he graduated with his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry.
Matt has had many opportunities and experiences playing and leading on worship teams both here at Knollwood and out at Prairie leading travel worship teams. In his last year he had the opportunity to be the Spiritual Life Commissioner in which he helped guide and aid in strengthening the spiritual walk of the students.
Matt has also helped out at leading youth here at Knollwood as a Student Leader and as a Youth Leader. In summer 2015 he interned at YFC in St. Catherines as the Student Summer Staff. During his time at Prairie he had the opportunity to lead and teach at youth groups and volunteer at several youth conferences
Matt is excited for this opportunity to help equip and disciple God’s people here at Knollwood.
