Plan a Visit

Looking for a church? Wondering what happens on a Sunday?
We're A Church Family

Sundays at Knollwood are casual, sincere, and engaging. Whether you are exploring the Christian faith, or you are serious about following Jesus, come as you are and know that you’re welcome.

Here’s what usually takes place:

  • Welcome/Announcement
  • Songs
  • Scripture Reading
  • Prayer
  • Songs/Worship through financially giving
  • Family Worship (New City Catechism and Children are dismissed to their program.)
  • Message from the Bible
  • Song
  • Benediction (Closing Blessing)

On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate Communion to remember Jesus Christ’s Last Supper.

What Happens on Sunday?

Our weekly gathering is on Sundays at 10:00 am with coffee being served after the service. Stop by our Welcome Centre where volunteers will help you with more information about Knollwood and register your children for our children’s program. We have a nursery that is happy to minister to parents with young children up to pre-school. Children up to grade 5 will also be dismissed before the sermon for their own program. The handicap-accessible entrance on the west side (closer to Adelaide). If you’re visiting for the first time? Save time with check-in by filling out our connection card.

What should I expect during Worship?

Our worship is a time where we gather as a local church family to sing, pray, and preach the gospel. We sing songs and hymns that focus on the gospel, pray, have communion, hear the Scripture read, and sit under the preaching of Scripture.
The dress is casual, worship is simple but serious, and Jesus is the focus. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday!

What is there for my Children?

A nursery is available for infants through to three years old during the service. Check your child at the Welcome Centre where we will ask to have your cell phone number just incase we need you. You can drop your child off at the nursery before the service begins. Children four years old and up worship with us until the halfway point of the service, when they break off to attend age-appropriate classes that are going through The Gospel Project. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know when this happens.
