The Godless and The Righteous – Genesis 36:1-37:1
We explore the stark contrast between Esau and Jacob—two men with two very different legacies. Esau seemed successful: his descendants became kings and chiefs long before Israel ever had a nation. But behind that appearance was a life built on self-reliance and rejection of God’s promises. Jacob, on the other hand, quietly remained in the land, trusting in what he could not yet see.
How do we measure success? What are we building our lives on? This message reminds us that God’s faithfulness fuels our trust and obedience, freeing us from the trap of depending on ourselves.
